Forums - Gaming - State of decay is one of the best RPG of all time.

Going through it again is amazing. I love the survival aspect, building your base, limited resource (you can run out of resources in this game),ect. The leveling aspect fits in nicely and the zombie theme is just pure awesome. The only issue is all the technical issues. If state of decay 2 removes the technical issues, this game has the best chance to be my most favorite RPG of all time.

Chuuch!!!

It is a very cool game.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Never considered it an RPG. Did some googling and apparently it has some RPG elements to it.

Wouldn't put it on a list of the top 100 RPGs though.

Neat game though.

Going by that, I assume you never played the game. The game has a lot of rpg elements including decisions and such. Kind of reminds me the balanace of action and rpg that mass effect 2 has.

I really didn't enjoy it all that much, it had a lot of elements I typically enjoy, not my game I guess, c'est la vie

The co-op in 2 should be amazing. Can't wait

I came very close to buying it on Steam a year or two ago but I remember there being a ton of complaints about things like bugs and frame rate. It was in Early Access at the time but I think it stayed that way for a very long period. I forgot to check back for progress and it fell off my radar.

If I'm not mistaken, some people also got upset at the developers for various reasons related to the "remaster".

Great game, looking forward to the sequel.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

It's a solid game, for sure. I enjoyed the life-or-death decision-making aspect of it. When a survivor dies he or she is gone for good, and the loss is keenly felt. I also liked the base building stuff and looting abandoned buildings.

It was just a little on the short side, with an anticlimactic ending.

I thought it was too much of an RPG with not enough story pr engaging gameplay mechanics. I hope the sequel is more enjoyable.
