Loved the one i played on 360, whatever that one was.

Dead or Alive 4

Dead or Alive Xtreme 2

Dead or Alive 5

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

I'm not sure which of those it was that you played.

Too many editions it confuses me. I just want a complete edition.

I loved DoA5 on the PS3. One of the rare fighting games that I enjoyed.

DLC. I like the fighting and graphics but you constantly feel like you are missing something with so much content locked out if you aren't willing to pony up hundreds of dollars for DLC. Add in inconsistent release schedules and various exclusive deals and it just kills off the fanbase

DoA1 & DoA2 were awesomesauce. Then they turned to shit. They were heaps popular back in the day.

Same as Dynasty Warriors actually. Except they waited until 6 & 7 to screw it up.

It might be good, but it's a big investment of time learn to play a beat em up, and I never got around to it. I can't remember if I ever had a go but I must have of a few occasions.

The xbox exclusives where the best in the series by far. Especially DOA2X which is my favourite fighting game of all time.

I just started playing DOA this gen with Last round, really enjoyed the game, but i agree with the above posts, the DLC is so radically expensive, and i hate picking characters but 16+- costumes are unavailable...not to mention some characters.
