Fifa is all over the place though. Its even on mobile devices. I don't think it matters what it takes, they will get a decent sim running on the Switch. Fifa is money.

I just think it's pretty high-risk. FIFA is the lifeblood of EA as an entity. I don't know if they'd want to gamble showcasing a version that will at best account for 20% of sales?

Honestly, Nintendo would be better off contacting a third party studio to make a Mario Strikers game. If EA wants to make one, then by all means, go ahead...

About FIFA, it will obviously be a downgraded version. You can't put the exact same version if the console is less powerful, that's just logical.

Unless the version didn't use the full resources of the more powerful system in the first place. All you can really get out of this is that it is not a copy/paste port. They are starting with some code and then making changes. Considering this is the first Switch title for EA then it could be more focused on changes they need to do to their internal tools to port to Switch.

Could be from those down, could be from some other base and up, who knows.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Those are good news I suppose. Although I have always prefer real football than electronic football and when I play a football videogame I go with PES. The Fifa games have always looked kind of clumsy to me.
