If "May" is the only spring option why wouldn't they say May? You don't have to say "May XX" you can just say "May" instead of spring. Also if they are trying to spread out the games (Spring, Summer, Winter) Where does Xenoblade go? |
MK8D was slated for April 28th (in the west) during the presentation, Nintendo didn't say ARMS would come in May because they probably prefer to give a specific release date which probably isn't possible right now since development is supposedly still going on, by Nintendo's previous releases it's clear that they are aiming for a May release, if they manage to achieve that is another story, still since the Mario Kart team is working on it I don't see what could possibly go wrong...

Who knows, they also put Mario Odyssey as Winter 2017 when that leaves December as the only option.
Xenoblade could go in Fall, more specifically September or October as I expect something bigger (Smash/Pokemon/Animal Crossing/etc.) to take the November slot.

tbh I expect Mario to come out before December, it'd be dumb to lose the potential Black Friday sales, Xenoblade 2 can come out either in September or December...
