i admit i was trolling there, but still this news is just another nintendoeverything clickbait title. Any sold out preorder news is a much more reliable indication of switch popularity than this news

Switch will sell somewhere between 3DS and the Wii

But that doesn't mean anything! People didn't use the internet in 2011 so you can't compare those numbers.

On a serious note, this is great news. The positive buzz just keeps building with the Switch. I really hope Nintendo goes back to the days of the Wii and DS in terms of mass market appeal, great local multiplayer experiences and quality of hardware. Things are looking good so far. My friends and I already have a launch party planned.

Update, compared to XB1/PS4/WiiU.
