Forums - Nintendo - New Switch trailer - Play anytime, anywhere, with anyone

I am really starting to miss Kevin Butler, those where great and funny adds. This is way to trendy for my taste.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

That's a good trailer, but they NEED to stop showing 1,2 Switch. It took up way too much of the trailer and was brutally cringe inducing.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

They really should have named it the Nintendo Hipster. That's the crowd they want. This was almost completely gimmick games. They're trying to push a "portable Wii".

I just don't think it's happening, no matter how many trendy adults are shown.

Since when are Breath of the Wild, Arms, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 gimmick games? The only game they showed that was built around a "gimmick" was 1-2 Switch. And I have a feeling that game will outsell the majority of Sony's first party titles anyway.

Arms isn't a gimmick game?  Seriously?  What about milking, shaving, sword fighting, gun fighting, bottle shaking, cat skinning, and whatever else I can't remember?  You're going to tell me that they're probably deep and nuanced games, aren't you?

Also, I'm kind of curious, but what does this have to do with Sony?

1 2 Switch is one thing but you're dead wrong about Arms as it's actually not only shown to have some potential depth in videos and hands on but it also has traditonal control set up as well.

Great... too bad im not anywhere as friendly as those people shown in the ad

Good trailer but I always hate when a company shows people playing with motion controls. I can't explain it but seeing somebody react to getting hit by nothing or a sword bouncing off of nothing always irks me.

All those things belong to the same game as much as you try to make it sound like more.

Arms is not a gimmicky game, motion controls are not a gimmick by default, lots of exemples of games that used it well enough, Arms looks like one of those and it gives you the option to be played with a Pro controller, so not a gimmicky game.

1, 2 switch can go to hell. Arms looks good.

"I think that no one who will buy this thing, actually lives the life depicted in this clip"

This comment is probably true...

Btw, I just dont feel it, advertising feels very Wii U-esque to me.

You really don't know what are you saying, it has nothing with Wii U, Switch commercial messaging is loud and clear, focusing at young people and more coolish, totally different compared to Wii U advertise, it's actually much more similar to Wii than Wii U.

moral of the story.

slack off at work
making jerking off motions in the middle of a roof party
slack off at school
make a mockery of yourself in the middle of the restaurant

Profit.
