If Bayonetta 3 were announced as a Switch exclusive at E3 this year, that would be freaking comedy gold xD

Tbh I think it's been in the works for quite some time already (assuming Nintendo was pleased with the Bayo 2 sales ) but I can't immagine Nintendo not doubledipping with Bayonetta 3 given the push they made for Bayo with Smash and the Amiibo in the works...

Also, I will say that Bayonetta 3 NEEDS to be either multiplat to all platforms or Switch exclusive. And then it needs to stay one of those. They can't just toss this franchise from platform to platform. I would not be shocked to see it pop up as a Switch exclusive for the PR and library diversification.

They need money to make Bayo 3. Unless it's already funded I can't see Bayo 3 releasing until 2018 holiday or early 2019.

I'm hoping it's multiplat considering how well the previous one reviewed and it sold a decent number on a low install base. Hopefully Nier Automata sales will help push it to be multiplat.

I'd far rather that Nintendo scoop up Scalebound and have Platinum make it for Switch, personally. They'd have to tweak it, probably make it a single player focus, which is just fine by me. But I'd rather see that, THEN Bayonetta 3.

If Nintendo is smart they'll fund Bayonetta again. Even with Bayonetta 2 they knew it was about filling out their software lineup instead of being a big seller. In fact I'd imagine they were pleasantly surprised it sold nearly 800,000 units given the Wii U's small install base. If Xenoblade can get a third game after neither previous game sold 1 million then there's no reason for Nintendo to ignore Bayonetta.

Bayonetta 3 hopefully multiplatform.

But there's definitely a chance one of Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony gets it console exclusive with a pc release. If that happens I'd say Microsoft are the least likely but a toss up between Sony and Nintendo.

I did buy a WiiU for Bayo2. And it was worth it.

Microsoft now has 0% chance of getting any game made by Platinum that isn't published by Activision IMHO
