I have had to RRoDs... Neither were Falcons.
My advice though, wait until the end of summer when the new 360's ship with a new graphic chip. That should get rid of the RRoD problem finally.

Having read the posts there are quite a bit of trolling in this thread. I wonder how the mods will review it. Well the operator of thread should be to blame with the way he has set up the thread.

Well you can check out and compare to see if the system you've gotten/are getting is a Falcon by comparing to here:

Basically, pretty much all of the newer systems are Falcons. I just bought my Elite 360 recently,http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=21998 and it was manufactured in January and it's a Falcon. It runs so much quieter than my old Core 360. Both idle noise and when playing games. :)

To the people that actually bothered to give advice. thnx. What I think I'll do is wait 2 months till the summer and get 360 with new graphics chip as well. That way it has falcon and new GPU. I need a break from gaming anyway. At least I'll have the money to get a few brand new AAA games like GTA4. To those who came here to troll on me. Grow up. Rock on 2008 every post you make is a troll against 360 so why your still not band I dont know. Thnx again.:)

Well if you wait for the 65nm cpu and gpu version it won't be a Falcon, as the new name is Jasper (I think) for that revision. 
Should be even more reliable than the Falcons (which are pretty reliable themselves it seems)

^^ Cheers smbu2000. I may give in after a month and get bored. But I'll upgrade to Elite this time for sure. I need to choose games wisely this year cause I need enough money to get PS3 with FF13. Thnx again:)
360 has best games but......
