Absolutely not blaming Canada, as I said, Canada's rate of violence compared to my own country (US) is impressively and laudibly minor. That's why this attack is so surprising. Unfortunately, my own country suffers from mass shootings every few weeks (though many of them are less targeted than this one).

Yes.
Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims do not live in the same areas. The strife between the two offshoots is documented heavily.
As a very recent example, when liberating Mosul in Iraq which is a Sunni Muslim population, militia that was of Shia origin was originally forbidden from entering battle to liberate due to alleigences.
When a government needs to take these kind of steps, it's enough proof for me of the continued strife.

Hahaha daesh and Taliban are wahabis. Wahabis are the most extreme strain of Islam. Its not shias or Sunnis who are the problem. Its the damn wahabis who are intolerant and kill other people. Sunnis are people like barelvis and suffis. Look them up.
