Ah, sorry. I most deinitely was critical to the extremely small number of refugees that the US took - I'm actually in support of Angela Merkel's decision, even if a little more rigourous tracking and background checks would not hurt. For the very least, the US could take up refugees at the rate that Canada does (which would amoun to, perhaps, half a million, considering population difference.)
I was not quite as outraged; as this current ban is much more englobing, and also affects people that I believe had already obtained rights in the US. Namingly, people that had jobs or even their homes in the US seeing themselves locked out, even if they were just outside for a week, on a buisnesss trip or family visit. That's ridiculous. Notice that I did specify free movement of labour, not free citizenship for all. I don't believe that all should get the social benefits of the country; but someone that can find a job, and pay a home in any country should be allowed to stay.
