Perhaps it was all a clever plan to get people to worry the Switch would be the same situation so now people who have moderate interest in the system have put down pre orders on it to make sure they can get it on day 1, could be very clever marketing if that was the case.

Preordered it at amazon and got it with the second shipment in december. It's cute and I love it. The Emulation is so on point.

Nope and I never will. I have a NES in my pc, ps3, psp, phone. No need for a machine(which is bascailly an emulator) with tiny controllers. If I want the authentic experience I'll get the real deal, I already have a Framemeister.

Come March that's how Ebay will look with Switches, I bet half the pre-orders are from scalpers lol.

Got one for Christmas. A lot of people I know who want one have lost interest in getting one since it's been months of not being able to find them. Honestly I was the same way. If my girlfriend didn't get me one I probably would have skipped it. There are dozens of games a year I'm interested in, if I can't find one I'm just going to skip it. Luckily for me I didn't have to skip the classic.
