Forums - Gaming - Old or unreleased games you want for the Switch

When it comes to Nintendo platforms, third parties like to play it safe, sometimes by releasing old games (Skyrim) or sports games (EA).  I started thinking about a game which was completed but never released.  Star Wars: Rogue Leaders for the Wii.  Rogue Leader is my favourite Gamecube game, and I was very disappointed to find that the Wii compilation was cancelled when Factor 5 went under.

I don't know what the legal status of the game would be vis a vis the old Factor 5 employees, but the game is pretty much finished.  And EA has the rights to the Star Wars license when it comes to video games.  A resolution bump to 1080p and the remapping of the motion-plus controls to the joycons should be fairly cheap and simple for EA.

I wouldn't even care if the graphics received no improvement other than running at 1080p and better anti-aliasing.  Rogue Leader for Gamecube still looks amazing.  And we'd finally get that 1:1 lightsaber game we've been waiting for since 2006.   I just really want them to release it, and if there are no legal issues it would be a cheap way for EA to put out a game for the Switch with minimal work or investment.

Are there any older games, especially ones that were never released, that you would like to see come out for the Switch?

Same could be said about Battlefront 3

ARMS has given me A New Hope for a game that uses swordfighting and airsports controls.

I'll pay full price for the Command and Conquer (17 game) collection that EA sells for $10 if it had local multi. Team Fortress 2 or a new Orange Box with cross-platform play and local multi would be an instabuy.

Devs should use the Steam survey and see what the top games played on a laptop are then port and add local multi.
