What should it be called?

Playstation Vita 2 (PSV2) 10 12.99%

Playstation Portable 2 (PSP2) 22 28.57%

Playstation 4 but Portable 21 27.27%

Playstation on the road 1 1.30%

Playstation Wars: Return of the Portable 0 0%

playstation Rogue Two 1 1.30%

Playstation No Support Round 3 15 19.48%

Playstation DS 7 9.09%

Total:77

i know this is likely never going to happen but here is what i would want:

Name: PSP2

Compleatly backwards compatable with PSP/Vita games via Store

32GB Flash storage with mini memory card slot up to 256GB

NO physical media, codes come im boxes so they can be sold in stores

Ultra Thin, better built quality

his thing only needs to be slightly more powerful then the Vita

Has a better internal build like the PS4 so its alot easier to port games

(games like COD could be ported from the PS3 build for example)

Ui is like that of the PS4, not the Vita

Those are just a few things i would want, i know it wont happen but if it did i would want it to feel like its seemless with the PS4

Dual boot with Android so I can use it for my emus and mkv files too

Allows PS4 owners to play their games on the go!

Pocky Lover Boy!

I'd want what the Vita was (more powerful obviously) and way better 1st party support and cheaper prices on Memory cards etc....

Edit: better yet, get rid of proprietary memory cards all together and use SD cards.

I don't trust Sony with handhelds anymore. They've destroyed my trust in them.

If they did all I want is to no first party budget wasted on it.
Just make some old games playable on it, or ps4 games when tecnology gets there.

I have no interest in portable/mobile gaming. Hell, if the next playstation were something like the switch, wich compromises games in favor of portability, it´s very likely I´d play only on pc.

Good support, that's about it.
Devs, including Sony, just dropped the Vita too soon, while only Japan kept supporting it, and it kept selling there.

If Sony wants to do more hardware, they have to guarantee it'll be well supported, PS consoles massive support is always one of its biggest strenghts.

agreed, it weird becuase the PSP actually had really good support, infact its probably one of my all time favorate systems, The Vita i hated everything about it.

Easy steup to use android phone internet connection automatically.
SD/microSD card support.
But I would rather have them focus all their energy on home consoles.

Oh just a few things...:

L2/R2 L3/R3
Normal micro SD cards
1080p screen (oled preferably)
Digital only, no physical media (just like Steam)
Android based so it can be used as a tablet/phone
To be released once we are on a 7nm process so it can actually be powerful in a portable form factor.

They shouldn't make a separate dedicated handheld, it would only work with a unified library, thus guaranteed support.

I don't think they should bother, dedicated hardware will be going out the window within a decade anyway.
