But dear god the exchange rate is making that price devastating, it's more expensive than a game! :(
And for those you don't want to click the link the controller is $89.99 CAD

It's only $15 more than the DualShock 4 Controller, seems in line with the exchange rates of all products in Canada to me. Unless you were just talking about Canada's exchange rates in general.

I guess it's just the fact that it costs more than the games. That's the crazy part to me. Super expensive to get a full set up!

Ive kinda changed my mind about the Canadians bitching. Sure your bitching is still fucking annoying but I can kinda see where you're coming from. Your dollar says shit should be that expensive but then I realised that you have much lower wages there than here in Australia.
We are paying slightly more than you guys even though our dollar is the same but your minimum wage is like 2/3 of what ours is.

I don't bitch much myself :o
It's only been recently they've finally adjusted the prices up because of the exchange so i'm seeing a lot of games jump from $60 to $80 in a short amount of time :(
I'll be used to it soon enough, but just a pain to see it right away!

Expensive :/
For reference:
Joy-con controllers (2): $99.99
Dualshock 4: $74.99
Xbox One Controller: $74.99

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
90 fucking dollars?! Are they insane?! I got my XB1S controller for $50 during boxing day.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
It seems the videogame companies have been trying hard to keep price parity with USD prices in Canada at the distress of Canadians. They may just want to discourage the easy import/export from USA to Canada (or from Canada to USA) since they share the same North American region specifications and products will work in both countries without any modification needed. Digital game price parity is probably another reason.
But if you look at the following there might be hope for Canada in the future rise of their Canadian dollar.
U.S. goods and services trade with Canada totaled an estimated $662.7 billion in 2015. Exports were $337.3 billion; imports were $325.4 billion. The U.S. goods and services trade surplus with Canada was $11.9 billion in 2015. - https://ustr.gov/countries-regions/americas/canada
U.S. goods and services trade with China totaled an estimated $659.4 billion in 2015. Exports were $161.6 billion; imports were $497.8 billion. The U.S. goods and services trade deficit with China was $336.2 billion in 2015. - https://ustr.gov/countries-regions/china-mongolia-taiwan/peoples-republic-china
One of Trumps main objectives is to decrease the giant trade deficit with China and to make that plan viable he has to make US exports more competitive with a lower US dollar. And a lower US dollar will usually correlate to a rise in the Canadian dollar.
It's rough! But I suppose there will still be sales when I do get a Switch and need a pro controller.
