Well imo Skyrim is a better game, love going through different cities etc, although oblivion is better

Hopefully, Nintendo will allow for dual audio next time then

Interesting to read though!

The talk about shrines is slightly worrying to me. Does this mean there will be no traditional copmlex Dungeons in the game at all? Only slightly larger and smaller shrines? Also, I liked the themed Dungeons in past Zelda games. The themes help anchor the Dungeon in the game world imo, but we will see how it's implemented here.

The part about his Son being grown up and being tired of getting messages dedicated to him in his fathers games was a bit sad, as well. ;__;

Yeah, reading this interview it looks like there aren't big dungeons, but they have confirmed in other interviews so we are still going to see.

The latests speculation says that the big dungeons are mot themed like OoT or TP, but more like Zelda I or II with similar aesthetics.

That's literally all I've wanted. I hate "Puzzelda," so this would be a welcome return for me.

"Naturally, there’s also some that are quite bigger and more complex than others, more akin to traditional dungeons from previous Zelda games (complete with the traditional boss battles)."

As long as there's a destinction for these, I'll be okay. Aka, these shrines are mandatory.

Is weapon upgrading the only form of character upgrading in the game? That feels kind of simplistic for an open-world game, if that's true. Who knows, maybe it works well in practice.

I love exploring in games. I love stumbling over new and hidden things. That part sounds great. Love the climbing and hope Elder Scrolls/Fallout add that aspect when (if) they upgrade the engine.

Content sounds a bit light for the size of the map, though maybe there will be a lot more that hasn't been talked about yet. I would gladly take less content if that content is more complex, as well.

Breath of the Wild isn't even out yet...

It's not going to deviate from the zelda formula.

Breath of the Wild will be GotY 2017 for sure. Inspired by Skyrim, but I have a feeling BotW will blow it out of the water.

Except it does... Might want to actually look up a game before you start bashing it.

It's not, we've already seen that you can upgrade the stamina meter and I have a feeling we'll get "definitive items" sometime during the story that will act as character upgrades as in past Zelda games...
