Fewer limitations like small Japanease install base, higher productions costs, and no motion sensing. I dont think those things would have helped.

It is most like money issues. While I agreee that this game is beautiful, the styling will alienate people just like Okami did. Don't get me wrong the game may be wonderful but I am assuming they are making it on a very tight budget to squeeze profit out of a nieche title.


To be fair, limited Japanese install base just means the odds of me seeing on the store shelves go up.

The higher production cost is only really if they chose to go for full HD...etc AFAIK.  No one would be forcing them to do that though.

I don't know how the game will control, so for all I know... motion sensing may not matter at all.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

Didn't mean it that way. I consider myself a gamer before a Wii owner so I'd rather see a great game make it to the shelves even if it's not on a platform I own. I can always get another console eventually, but I can never get a cancelled game.

Aww. This looked like the Wii's first great RPG! Odin Sphere was great and I hope this comes through!
