I could of sworn I read the dev of Dark Souls 3 said they had it running on switch... Now that it appears switch is only a slightly more powerful wii U I guess that was a lie? Does anyone know anything about this or am I just thinking i heard that?

It was never official and I don't trust LetsPlayVideoGames's sources, so it's likely made up.

According to the Foxconn leak the switch is much closer to Xbox one in terms of power compared to the Wii u so wait until the switch is butchered after release to get the info on switch's insides. Also 1 teraflop of pascal tegra custom chips is apparently more powerful when compared to the old tech inside the ps4 and Xbox one. It also is apparently more efficient with using just 10 watts of power to get 921ghz compared to 1.4 thz of Xbox one using 75watts. So perhaps if for once Nintendo stop being so green and over clock the heck out of this GPU they can get to Xbox one levels of power or more. But all of this is the speculation of analysts and as I said wait until the switch is butchered before calling it weak or strong hardware

Why does everyone keep saying that? The Switch will be quite a bit more powerfull than the Wii U and we still don't know all the specs.

I don't know about all that I just saw a very convincing video that it was less powerful than the nvidia shield. Which is bad. And not close to xbox one.

Its less than that, and has to be underclocked since it can't handle the heat produced otherwise.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
