Everybody knew this would happen, Nintendo chose to make another gimmicky underpowered system, forcing third party to either brought back old games from the previous gen, or heavily downgrading their new ones.

Nintendo needs third parties, but third parties don't need Nintendo anymore. The arrogance Nintendo has been throwing at them for 25 years has come back right into their face.

They did nothing to nurture their relationship with third parties, they did nothing to give them the tools they asked for, and now Nintendo consoles are slowly becoming something of the past.

Pff... they've forsaken the 3DS version of StreetFighter 4. It sold pretty well, and not additional updates or features were released on it.

Why should I care for an even worse version of the game?
