In terms  of developing relations, I think Nintendo has gone the furthest with the Smash community. A couple of days ago Genesis 4 announced their collaboration with Nintendo.

What does this mean? Well, it means that there are a lot of logistics, hardware, managment and support that Nintendo does behind the scenes. Outwardly However, if there is any indication with when the promoted Splatoon, I have a feeling that they are going to promote other games as well. I think ARMS is going to be their top choice.

Apparently they're a very popular group that hosts smash tourneys.

They also sponsored Genesis 3 last year which was real neat.

My bad should have made that clear. Genesis is similar Evo in the sense that they primarily hosts tournaments yearly, this being the 4th. 

In scale its much lower than Evo, but its been growing year over year. Primarily they host Smash touneys

This year they added: SFV, Rivals of Aether, Cathrine, and TowerFall

It goes from today to Jan. 22
