... and that's considering the dev kits are probably still very limited.

I mean when did they first show it to 3rd parties? June last year?

To give a idea of how big "80" titles over the next 3-4 years really is, that are in production now.

It's a stupid comparison. It's also a stupid conclusion.

You can't honestly believe that it will take more than three years for 80 games to release or that no new games will be announced during that timeframe.

It's ninja trolling, nothing more.

A big majority of that is releasing this year, that's a pretty huge library already. The list of Nintendo 1st parties (with their divisions merged now) and indies will continue to grow, hopefully creating enough sales to encourage 3rd party developers to toss their titles in the mix too. I can see the Switch working out like this, especially if they encourage developers to utilize HD Rumble and the advanced haptic feedback on the touchscreen.

I had a quick glance at wikipedia's list for PS4 games, and i counted 159 releases in the first year in NA (might be a couple off, i couldn't be bothered to double check and count again :p). I thought it was a lot less for some reason. I seem to remember many 2014 releases as 2015.

80+ games? I counted 31. Mario Kart, Ultra Street Fighter 2, Skyrim, and Minecraft are just old ports ( some with enhancements. ) I would say that is more like 27. This is a poor launch in my opinion. If there are more than 80 games being made, then what are the titles or working titles?

It's 153 (just use control G and type in PS4) a lot of indie games did released that year remember.

"Several game developers have unannounced games and I can't wait to see em and the wii u already has 85 games just go to wikipedia to see the list now of course the list will be changing over time and games will be taken off and added on but damn that is a lot of games and its not even out yet and there is more to come the wii u is the ultimate console and it will shit on this gen and next gen and if you don't see it then you will later and in the mean time you have a lot of research to do lol"
