I wouldn´t say I am an achivement whore but I sure love the feature and I can only hope that PS3 will have something similar by the time I buy one.

I am not an achievement whore... OK... I probably am....

I like achievements not for status but, more to guide me through some of the games. You discover a lot about games when you see the achievements and that encourages you to try things you wouldn't normally try in some games.



I enjoy unlocking achievements but it's really nothing more than nice bonus for me personally. I don`t play my game's to simply get achievement points unless it's something I actually want to do, and would do even if there wasn`t these points on offer. Having said that and being a new 360 owner, it was definately a stroke of genius by Microsoft and something that Sony and Nintendo will eventually emulate.
