...or is this a phenomenon across all console fanbases? I don't know why people can't seem to understand that Nintendo is a business first and formost and that they do not care about their individual customers, aside from their potential sales. What's ironic is that I see more grounded and balanced feedback of the Switch from Sony/Microsoft fans who may or may not actually purchase the system. When I look at Nintendo fans, however, it almost seems as if these people feel personally harmed when Nintendo screws up in some fashion, and honestly it's kinda cringey to see.
Nintendo games are some of the best in the industry, and I'm gonna buy whatever hardware their games may end up on, but I'm seriously considering distancing myself from the Nintendo fanbase as a whole. People have an unhealthy emotional attatchment to this company, and it's honestly draining to have to see all of this play out again and again.
