Oh ok. Well I don't really think that's a fair argument. The PSP was no where near close console and the Vita had a lot of exclusives that relied on portablity. A lot of Vita exclusives are third party answers to Monster Hunter, which was only on 3ds because that system was the most popular. If Monster Hunter was on Vita, who knows maybe i'd be on ps3. It's speculation, I'm not saying it's going to happen 100%
Edit : Let me put it like this. Small developers making titles for Vita that mimmick monster hunter are only on ps vita because they are competing with handheld monster hunter games. If they were a well established series like Monster hunter, they'd be on more consoles. In fact , Toukiden is on PS4 and that's a monster hunter clone. Gravity Rush also started on Vita and ended up on ps4 because that was a more successful platform. Obviously these comparisons aren't without flaws, which is why i'm speculating.

Why isnt it a fair argument? You are wondering what is going to keep developers from porting Switch games to other devices, well what kept developers from porting previous games on portable devices to other devices?

Maybe "fair" isn't the best word, disingenous is a better one. if the Switch is about as powerful on the go as the Wii U and more powerful when docked, then developers just have to port to the docked version to the PS4 and bam. The PSP was no where near the PS3, Xbox 360, and not even very close to the Wii. The PSP game library was also based on what games worked for the PSP. A good example is Monster Hunter, the first 2 games sold terribly on the PS2 and it wasn't till the PSP that they became succcessful. So they developed games around the mobile market, however, with the third monster huner(monster hunter 3) we saw huge demand for Monster Hunter on a console. It was then ported to the 3ds( a system slightly less powerful than a gamecube, but comparable to a wii when you downscale the graphics on a game that isn't even pushing the Wii).
The PSP was released in a different time, a time where it was guaranteed that a handheld game should stay on handheld, and a console game should stay on a console. But we decent demand for Monster Hunter on consoles, and since the Switch graphically performs like a home console(albeit an underpowered one), nothing is stoping a developer from putting a Switch game to the PS4, a system that does decent in Japan and can sell gangbusters with software.
It's like you skipped the entire post, or didn't even bother to read the TLDR. It's pretty obvious why it isn't the same as GB to SNES, or PSP to PS3.
