Forums - Nintendo - Are we going to have a Nintendo Direct for the switch?

Am I expecting too much?

No, just a zelda direct. 1 3.03%

yes, just a switch direct. 21 63.64%

yes, both. 11 33.33%

Total:33

I hope so, I will  buy the console day one with a direct or not but what do you think? we need an UI tour, virtual console tour, online tour... a lot of tours.

Also, a Breath of the wild direct? I'm not sure about this one cause this is one of those rare games that don't need more promotion, just need a launch date and that's it. But again, even Pokemon have directs so zelda should have one.

so from this day to march 3 I expect a Fire emblem direct, a Nintendo Switch Direct and Breath of the wild direct.

I mean a lot of directs happen throughout the year so probably.

I think we might see one in February, just a few weeks before the system launches for the more details on the games throughout 2017. I don't think there's a need now for a Breath of the Wild direct.

Well there is going to be the Fire Emblem direct on Wednesday that will reveals details on Fire Emblem Warriors. But there will likely be on that talks about VC dates and reveals launch window release dates and campaign footage for Splatoon 2.

Who knows?I didnt expect to get a direct so soon, so anything is possible. But if one is to happen, it wont be Zelda, since we already know everything there is to know about that title.Zelda just needs now a marketing push.(with ads and stuff, not directs)

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I think Zelda has been done enough. If Nintendo was going to do a Zelda Direct, they would have done it by now. But I do expect some sort of switch direct before E3. Ya know, talk about the other half of the system? The OS...Virtual Console...things that are very important to modern day consoles...

before e3 and BEFORE launch, hopefully.

Don't think. Unless they see that their presentation was bad and try to fix it before launch.

that's the think, it's not about trying to fix stuff, it's about info that we don't have about the switch.
