I wonder if this is Nintendo's plan all along. See who they can sucker to give them the most money for as long as possible and then cut to a reasonable price... I wouldn't put it past them at this point.

Eh, I would only be okay with MK8D being bundled if there's also a price cut, cause that game has little to no value for 8 million people.

To be fair, thats the plan for any comapny.Cant remember by memory, but Im pretty sure that the PS4 and XOne had a better deal by the holiday then launch.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

It's still Mario Kart, it sells consoles every time.
I can certainly see 250 without and 300 with a game. I seriously doubt that we'll see 250 with a game until the end of the Switch's lifespan.

True, though I still stand by what I said. After thinking about it MK8D being the bundled game is best chance there is to also have a price cut, since they've already made tons of money off the game from Wii U and the Deluxe version will have been selling for 7-8 months before the holidays start.

Yeah but those deals are often reflective of drop in price of the parts/tech that goes into it. Nintendo...they're turning this into a form of art. PS4 was reasonably priced when it launched, the Switch simply isn't. I agree, that's any company's strategy to cut costs if they can, but I think Nintendo is doing this deliberately.
