Most of Mario 64 moves (except punching and kicking) are back including power slides!!

Power Slides! Top Right

 

If you played 64 and Sunshine, you would know the joy of performing a cartwheel and power slide at the same time to make it look Mario is performing a 180 Super Man flying dive. So good.

Interesting enough cartwheel jumps were not shown, but what 3D Mario hasn't have cartwheel jumps yet?

I'm pretty sure it can be, a replacement for the boomerang without the need of the bommerang powerup
