Forums - Sony - What is your favorite Playstation Game this generation so far?

Yakuza Zero and Uncharted 4 now : ) In april - the masterpiece Persona 5 is coming.

So far I'm giving it to The Witcher III. I bought that game on release day (May 19, 2015) and played it for months on end. I even played the DLC expansions (something that I never do with games) that added pretty much an entire new game to the mix. I finally beat the game last week and clocked over 300 hours of gameplay. It's sad that this is the final game in the series.

Next I'd say Uncharted 4 is my favorite exclusive game. I'm only on Chapter 10 and it's been great so far. I've never seen graphics, storytelling, characterization, and difficulty so well-balanced in a video game. I think so far it's the best of the series. I've played Uncharted 4 and The Witcher III exclusively for over a year now. Wonderful games!

Just platinumed Witcher 3 last night. Somehow I didn't know there were multiple endings and got the worst one possible (apparently because I thought Ciri throwing a tantrum in a laboratory would be stupid). Great game, was a contender for GotG, but that ending after 100+ hours investment made me want to throw it straight in the trash.

Uncharted 4, bloodborne, ratchet and clank, gravity rush 2..

The Phantom Pain, easily.

Serious question. The gameplay was amazing. But the shitty rushed last dozen of hours or so... you had no problem with that?

I didn't say I thought it was good. It was just the least shit.

But in seriousness, I wouldn't say I didn't have any problem with it at all, but Metal Gear's story is so batshit anyway I guess I just don't care all that much. It's always the little details that make MGS sing for me. Between the customary Kojima cameo, the Pax Hamburgana tapes, next generational cardboard box technology, the way enemies drastically overreact to a horse poo, and having my chopper come screaming into battle while blasting out "Take On Me"... how could it not be my favorite PS4 game?

Because I haven't played Yakuza on PS4 yet, that's how!

i got the worst endings too. my endings after my first play through was: (this will contain my ending, so it might reveal spoilers that you didnt reah)

Geralt and Ciri Die. Both triss and yen ditch me (i know, im an asshole and deserve it). radovid takes over the north and wins the war (mages, witches and none humans are fucked due to this. and Cerys rules Skillge (the only good thing in my endings)

as for the bolded. that isnt the only factor in what ending you can or cant get. there are 5 choices that affect it. if you plan on playing the game again and dont want anything spoiled, then dont ready any further than this. you been warned. 1 - the labratory, in my first play through i didnt let ciri crash the lab. 2 - letting Ciri visit skjalls grave (this happens right after the lab mission). 3- throwing snowballs at ciri and having a snowball fight after the kaer morhen battle (doesnt matter if you win or lose). 4 - not going in with ciri to talk to the members of the lodge, this shows you trust her and dont need to hold her hand, though i didnt like this as i felt going in with her shows i have her back. 5- not accepting money from the emperor when or if you and ciri go visit him after the kaer morhen battle. you need to do 3 out of these 5 to get the good ending.

overall though, TW3 is my favorite game of all time. its just fantastic.

question about the bad ending. Did you kill the warewolf of spare him? .

I don't really think any ending is a "good" ending. I just feel bad for Geralt in either scenario. But I was sad when I finished it. I played that game for 8 months. But with so much on the Horizon (pun intended) for PS4 I'm glad I finished it. Need to start some new games.

Uncharted 4 only because i played DA:I on my ps3.

Gravity Rush Remastered, one of the most unique experiences I've had in awhile.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
