But yeah I'm definitely not against going back to hub worlds and more open levels as long as it's good. Woulda preferred if they atleast stuck with power-ups but I'll survive!

What are you talking about? 3D World had the cherries and fire flowers in like 4 levels...

Pretty sure the are much more levels than that were those power ups are found and they carry over into following levels with the exception of the cherry, this is what he means they have use through out the game for most part while in Galaxy and 64 they were very specific to levels and a task. Fire Flowers, Boomerang Suit and Cat Suit aren't the same as the power ups in 64 and Galaxy for that reason.

Ok, so it was just a poor reason for him to be mad at the game. Got it.
