I know the thread is about mario moves, but I have to give credit those are some good textures and texture filtering.

So pretty much the standard stuff, but with better animation. It'll be interesting to see how they implement that hat into the level design.

Man, Mario's pretty amazing and athletic, making all those moves look so easy. Also, the game looks pretty dang amazing too.

I know it seems to have other "worlds", but if this game's basic premise is that Bowser and his armies are attacking actual New York, in this world, and also reestablishing the fact that, yes, the Mario Bros. are originally FROM NY (and not just silly Italian caricatures), that would be awesome.

It's not the 3D Mario game I WANT (still waiting for a fully 3D, epic Mushroom Kingdom romp, like actually getting to run around the worlds from Mario 3 and maybe Mario World), but it looks like it could be neat.

They're gonna tie in the 1993 super Mario bros movie!

Jumping on the hat is a neat addition, could add some innovative gameplay with that

I'm not convinced about this one. I mean, I'm sure it will be a good game, but I never thought Mario and "open world" exploration blended in a good way, compared to the more straightforward platformers like Galaxy 1/2 or 3DWorld. But people asked for this, so I won't complain.

Seems more fake to me, Mario is power-ups, not health bars! But perhaps like with Sunshine and Fludd, the living cap can be somewhat like a power-up.
