Ah so we're on small games right now. Unlike many I don't mind them showing them but the segments always drag on way too long. Personally I think they should put together a demo cart ahead of time so that they can just go through all the small games they want to show in one segment and then move on with big ones.

No, Its 720p 59 fps. Pretty annoying on 60hz, because one frame is displays 2 frames long which leads to a small stutter every second.

Is MK8 720p? Playing it on my big screen and it looks fine. Apparently I'm not resolution-sensitive.

I'm not either. In fact, it wasn't even until last year that I discovered that older game consoles could input better than composite, so I've been playing them on HD TVs in low-quality without really thinking about it.
