No. Every handheld marketed as a console has FAILED. TurboExpress 1990. Was a handheld marketed as a portable console because it played TurboGrafx16 games. TG16 came ou in 88 so system was imppressive froma tech standpoint. 1995 SEGA Nomad handheld SEGA Genesis and plugged into the TV. High price low battery life. Vita marketed as a Handheld that can also be a console with PSVita TV. Nintendo did it right. A console that is portable.

your points are true but with many saying the switch is weak compared to other systems becaus its a console,would people not question the power if it was a 200$ handheld without the dock?

PS2 much weaker than Xbox or Gamecube. Wii Weaker than competition. NES weaker than a TG16 or Sega Master System. Atari 2600 weakest console. PS1 weaker than N64. If we go handhelds every Nintendo handheld been weaker than competitors.

Sepcs didn't hurt the Wii U as much as architecture and poor marketing/communicateion plus not being involved with 3rd parties. They made hardware and expexted 3rd parties to come and you can't do that approach anymore. You have to pander to them these days.
