Well, I really liked the PS2 launch lineup. TimeSplitters is my 3rd favourite game of all time, and I also really enjoyed FantaVision, Dynasty Warriors 2, DOA2: Hardcore, Tekken Tag Tournament, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 and Kessen.

Earliest I could see getting one is late 2017, but more likely into 2018 right now.

The only console I have ever purchased at launch was the PS4, and that was mainly because I had never done it before and wanted to at least once in my lifetime. Now that I have fulfilled that, I don't really feel the need to buy another console at launch.

i just traded in my Wii U, 3DS and a handful of games at gamestop.

that was enough to pay for Switch, Zelda, 1 2 Switch, a pair of Joy-Cons and a travel case.

oddly they werent accepting pre-orders for pro controllers.

After losing my Genesis, PS1 and PS2 games as I upgraded to the next generations and later regretting it, I don't trade in games anymore. Instead, I just try to save up the money to buy a new console.

Same never again really. Plus I have PS4, One, U, 360, and Wii games in my backlog.
