Excellent news! I'm surprised it took Nintendo this long. One side of this that people often miss is that once a console 'dies', it can be relatively hard to get games for it if it's region-locked. This ought to help with that since you can just get other regions' games.

Well, at least this way we can discuss about different pieces of information more easily. I do agree about your point, but getting info is easy enough anyway.
