Not to mention the fact that all I did was ask a question, I didn't tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do with regards to the rules or even quote anyone in particular. |
next time you should do it, be direct.

That's actually a good point. Nintendo does seem to try hard to keep anything from leaking, for all the good that did this time around. Personally, I think they'd be better off lining up more games than keeping people from finding out stuff a few months early but that's their call.
As I said before, the Wii U was at 4.6% in 3013. I find it really hard to imagine that it won't beat that number easily after a year on the market.

Hello first time posting here, but I saw this and just had a thought; wouldn't all Switch games be under some sort of NDA? So most devs wouldn't want to risk breaking that just for a survey.
How many developers are we talking about in this survey?

Why do I have a deja-vu here?,
Anyway, and I'm not really a Switch believer, this poll means exactly nothing and probably skewed some way for some reason, like for example I don't who and what they included here, considering the other percentages.
Well, if I would be an indie developer I would also not develop for Switch yet even if I wanted to simply because Nintendo wouldn't really let me develop for it yet.
If that is a good or bad strategy from Nintendo is another question but yeah, most simply can't really develop for it right now.
More interesting would be a poll about if these devs want to develop for it (but these polls are always pretty wrong, many devs just say "yes" then but never do it)

hi, welcome. that could be a reason, also, this survey is for individual developers and not companies.
btw do an introduction thread, those are fun.

If the survey is anonymous then I doubt that would be much of a factor. Can't say for certain that it is, though.

4500+ is what I read. Who knows how many are on the same team.
