The way we know this is unreliable is because it shows that Wii U is currently getting more support than 3DS which we know is untrue.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
Just wondering, doesn't VGC have a rule against people trying to derail and discredit a thread with repeated "kill the messenger" posts? Or am I confusing this forum with another?
On topic, looks like the Wii U came in with 4.6% in 2013 but I don't see a 2012 (granted, I didn't look very hard). That's surprising. I thought Nintendo would be trying to convince small developers, especially mobile developers, to release a port for the Switch. They're probably still taking a "you have to come to us" stance.
On the other hand, 50% of those polled said the Switch will be a bigger hit than the Wii U. There might just be a lot of developers who plan to wait and see what happens.

3% of 4500 is 135. so 135 developers want to make games for switch, doesn't sound so bad does it?

Or they don't have dev kits yet.
This is 4,500 developers. It looks like only a 1/3 of that number even develops on consoles.
Quick math 4,500 x .03 = 135 Developers are developing for the Switch. Bring that 4,500 down to the 1,500 that seem to develop on consoles and that % is raised to 9%.
But again, the system is not out yet, I'm doubting all those 4,500 or even 1,500 developers have access to a dev kit yet.
The title is misleading. It say's will, as in intent. Yet the poll taken was actively developing, as in doing so right now. Just cause one isn't developing a game right now, does not mean they have no plans to in the future.

Not to mention the fact that all I did was ask a question, I didn't tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do with regards to the rules or even quote anyone in particular.

Well, its a start really. And PC is sky high for a reason. It has the least barriers to entry. Anyone can develop on PC and I am willing to bet that most of us have coded before and it was on a PC.
