Mass Effect: Andromeda Will Support HDR on Xbox One, PS4, PC

Studio GM Aaryn Flynn announced on Twitter (via DualShockers) that the spacefaring RPG will support high dynamic range (HDR) on both Xbox One S and PlayStation 4/PlayStation 4 Pro. HDR will also be supported on PC, he said.

HDR can deliver more vibrant and luminous games; in essence, it aims to make content look more realistic. You may need a 4K TV to see the benefits.

I'm so torn on this game. I have every other game in this series on Xbox One (360). I have a PS4 Pro so I assume that will be the best version. Now, I see the Xbox One S version will support HDR.

I really don't know which way to go. Brand loyalty or better (but maybe not noticeably better) experience.

I've been using Sweetfx with some of the games I've played to mimic HDR, but that isn't stopping me from being interested in AMD's Free-sync 2 monitors that support HDR and other features.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
