To be honest, the "don't quote this user" "rule" is rather stupid.

Having rules in place for specific users goes against the point of having a fixed set of rules and conduct guidelines.

Yep sounds fair. And if the mods want to do something about it they will have to apply a new rule.

Although I do expect you to get the first ban, if only because you just actually stated your intent to skirt the rules by "stealth quoting". Something that Kerotan is probably doing - but hasn't admitted to it.

We'd need forced ignoring on a broader scale - although I'm convinced some of these guys (and this is much bigger than this situation) want to see the posts of certain people who they don't like because they want to be bothered by it.  If we forced it so certain people couldn't see the posts of other certain people, some of them would probably sign out to be able to read the posts.

A few things in response to this:

- Unrelated to this post, we're changing our approach to these situations where we've implemented "no interaction" rules on certain users.  We're pretty much getting rid of them. That said...

- If you were banned "4 or 5 times with the same exact thing", why haven't you learned yet?  It's an incredibly simple thing to follow.  We let you get away with it the previous time.  How many times do we let somebody get away with a clear stipulation that we've put in place?

@Its called being hard headed. I was STEALTH QUOTED, i replied with a normal quote yet i get banned for something kero started. And again im hard headed. Ask Rol lol

The rule was put into place to protect you guys from yourselves.  It's not working.  So we'll try a different apporach.

@If its a fair argument then it should just go on. My last post was perfectly fair and shouldnt have been reported. That said again sorry for the trouble. Either way in all comes back to 1 user. So i hope you find a good solution

It's good you're ridding the site of these "no interaction" rules. As you say here, forcing these users to come into contact with one another will result in them getting mad, but as an adult capable of mature decisions they should know when not to do or say something. I say, live with the consequences of your actions without the guidelines of some rule such as "no interaction," even if the consequence leads to a perma-ban.

I wonder when they'll implement these new decisions.

Your biggest issue has not simply been responding to Kerotan, but doing it multiple times, even after being cut breaks and given Warnings about it. We're making some changes to it, but had you respected the requested rule, you wouldn't have been in trouble as often.

I don't see how we're being played at all. Particularly in your case. We carefully reviewed what was going on before taking action. And in my case, you knew the deal, as I cut you several breaks with PMs. It is now why we're coming up with something else (again, to save y'all from yourselves), in addition to, making it a bit easier for us to keep up with.
