Alot of people generalise to some degree. The differences is on what. That's why I asked that question. Could you answer it?

You could take quickrick as an example

I don't follow his conversations that much. Different lanes most of the time. I'm okay with this rule just so long as alot of regulars aren't getting banned over it or I have to start sourcing every opinion.

There's a particular kind of generalizing...
- "All Nintendo fans say..."
- "Gay people expect..."
That kind of stuff has become a significant problem. Now, if one says, "black people tend to get Sickle-Cell Anemia at a much higher rate", that's different. But saying, "black people are known to rob someone more than other races" is going to be an issue. Those are just some of the stark examples.

lol There's data to back up those except the gay one and all nintendo fans say..... Hmm. I'm just trying to get an idea of what this rule is used for and how often.

Bad second example, since with statistics that can be proven correct in which case it should be fine. Now if you say all black people are robbers

That's definitely is a bad example. 😹
