did you watch the show? cause the adults are smart and part of the main team, the teacher, the cop, the mom, the big brother and big sister. The cop starts believing and kickin ass very early, episode 2 to be exact. The cop is the real hero right there with Eleven and without them the kids are dead. The school drama is part of every culture, nothing to do with the 80's, also the school drama is like one episode of "funny and sad" stuff.

I did watch the show. All 800 episodes. At least it felt like that many...

the douchebag boyfriend at the end is a hero who rescued his girlfriend and the creepy teen who is the good guy but NOT the love interest of the girl, because she's in love with the douchebag boyfriend who is not a douchebag anymore = anti-cliche

the corporation is part of the MK Ultra (something real) and uses Eleven to spy important people of other countries. They're not doing "evil things" they are part of a gray area where they are developing a very "bad" way to control information. But at the end of the day they're fucked because their big experiment opened pandora's box "the upside down" and now thanks to that they are not the "bad guys" they're part of the background and now "the upside down" is the "enemy" seems like you need to watch the series and pay attention a bit more :P

Yea I saw it the moment it came out and damn. Normally when I see kids acting, I am like da faq is this shit but wow. The acting in this series is top notch and the writing is awesome.
