The Super Bowl is a unique football game in that it attracts a lot of people who normally do not watch football. I think estimates put the audience for the Super Bowl at well over 100 million people for the USA alone. Entire families watch the event. |
Rolstop has a good point, plus the ads during the Superbowl aren't just adds. They get looked at and reviewed on television days afterwards, and are often where you see a lot of big movie adverts.
And a lot of things have been advertised at the bowl. I recall at one point a MLP commercial. And I think there are more overlaps with Nintendo fans and football fans than bronies and football fans personally.
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
