No, probably will get one after the reveal and before launch, but I don't see one happening between 2 weeks

I wouldn't count on it, and if there are, it'll most likely be 3DS focused.

...And what would they have to show? If a Pokemon game (say Stars or Time Diamond and Space Pearl) was revealed, it's way too early to go into a full direct over them.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Stars wpuld be a Switch title. As for 3DS, there would be Pikmin, Ever Oasis, Lady Layton and maybe Monster Hunter XX to show. And those are only games that I remember on the top of my head.Im sure there are a few more.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

That XX game was on the Switch list, and they generally highlight their directs with big reveals or major games. None of the three above I feel matchit, and I don't see a Robobot sneaking in again

I dont remember seeing a rumor that said that XX was going to be an Switch title.Other than that, Ever Oasis was featured in E3.While not Pokemon big or Mario big, I can see them giving it a push, specially since it is a Nintendo IP.Lady Layton is part of  the Professor Layton franchise, so that game is important too.Couple that with smaller titles that Nintendo may localize, like Goodbye Boxboy and Detective Pikachu and others like Yokai Watch 3(which is big), and you got yourself a direct that can easily last 25 minutes at least. So they have material for it.

Having said that, I think they want to focus entirely ob the Seitch. So if a 3DS direct happen, I see a Switch happening around the same time, just so it keeps on peoples mind(the console)

I already once thought the 3DS wouldn't get another direct, but was proven wrong, so I ain't doubting it no more! When else are they supposed to talk about Ever Oasis and whatever new announcements they have afterall.

A 3DS direct I think we are gonna get without a doubt. But we won't any new Nintendo published Switch games announced until E3after the 12th  but after E3 then the directs will entirely become Switch focus.

XX was one of the titles listed in that rumored launch lineup from a while back: said rumor also had games like Pikmin Wars, Overwatch, and Sonic Mania if I recal correctly.

Never heard of that rumor before. And if thats the case, probably isnt a reliable source, but I digress.Point is, there is still games comming to 3DS.
