Why spending time making and discussing them.

For entertainment of course!

It's likely, though I suspect there would probably be two versions

The cheaper one without a game

A bit more expensive, but you get a game with it.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Being Nintendo, they may not, but I definitely hope so..

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

I will say no, besides maybe a demo of something, I don't see Nintendo bundling any game with the Switch during the initial launch window unless things are off to a bad start.

Sure, because the Wii had a bad start.

Yes yes, they clogged the shelves.

I'd like them to bundle Bayo 1-2 with it. I could see myself going for said bundle pretty easily for an IP like Bayo. Not really keen on a few selected bundles with games I don't like. Its why HMV only had the New SMB. 2 game, that I then proceeded to get credit back from and then also use said credit to go and buy myself a charger, something that really irked me about that whole deal was that 1) It came with a game I didn't like and there were no alternative offers at the time in store. 2) it didn't come with a charger.

If they want to grab me with that Switch on the first try, they need to aim for more than the Mario crowd. Also coming with a charger (as expected) would be nice.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Given Xenoblade is on the port theory list, I guess Plat. ports aren't so unlikely, though I'd rank Tropical Freeze above Bayoneta

Can people please wait 12 more days?

I thought for sure that the N64 was bundled with Super Mario 64 at launch, and the GameCube with either Luigi's Mansion or Melee, I guess not.
But I think the Switch will have a bundled game, if it's not Breath of the Wild, than it'll be that new 3D Mario game they're making.

That wasn't bundled in Japan and as we've seen over the years since the Wii, Japan is now calling ALL the shots so I really wouldn't count on that as an example. Despite how much favorable it would make the system, Nintendo won't give away a full game for free if they can sell it seperately.
