Splatoon bundle seems like a good idea. A Mario Switch bundle may be more atractive for Wii U owners though.

Well and if Zelda ends up releasing at launch a bundle with it would be perfect.

Yeah, congrats. Great achievement. Normally I would follow up these words with a sarcastic comment, but this time I really mean it. Even the majority of Nintendo fans is oblivious to what you posted, so it goes without saying that the entirety of the gaming community has an even lower percentage of people who are in the know.

Technically though, Wii Sports is indeed a new IP because of its execution. It's just not a new idea to make video games based on sports, not even for Nintendo. Semantics.

The Switch's gimmick is portability, and Nintendo handhelds have never had this kind of game bundles like the Wii or the WiiU had. Plus, there is no need for those kind of tech demos for the Switch. If I had to guess, I'd say they won't bundle a game at launch. The most it can happen is they'd give you one or two codes of the WiiU remasters on the deluxe bundles.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Personally, I love the idea of a permanently bundled game. It is hands down the best way to turn an IP into a mega-success. Mario might be half of what it is today had it not been bundled with the NES, for example.

With that in mind, I hope they bundle something that hasn't been around for 20 years, even if it's a Wii U port. It should also be a real IP, not a glorified feature demo.

Nintendo should continue to separate themselves from PS/Xbox and I think a fun pack-in game with a lot of replay potential would contribute to that.
