I call it my most incomplete game of the year.

If I had to pick game of the year this year, I say ask again next year, because this year was meh.

As a person who finished the game. but...why? It's a mess. No it's not bad it's decent but it's a mess of plot holes and a lot of missing content with a half assed combat system from people who don't understand how action games work.

The main problem with FF XV's battle system isn't in the ideas or controls, but in the flow of those battles and the often poor camera.

The battle should not have monsters throw Noctis to the ground every single attack they make that connect (barely exaggerating), or there should be way more cues indicating when you're about to receive such attacks. But the premise and the way it works and evolves over the course of the game is actually quite well done and fun.

Honestly, the whole list is far more interesting, especially Persona 5 at the top with 21 votes and Pokemon GO with 20. FF15 was actually third with 17.

Also, Summer Lesson (4 votes) beating Uncharted 4 (3 votes) and Pokémon Sun & Moon (3 votes) is hilarious.

i don't understand how Uncharted 4 and S/M did worse than Pokemon Go...

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

So by being casual, one prefers a washed-up video game over a polished and better game? That's pretty sad

No, by being casual you are able to play a game(Pokemon GO) that is available on hundreds of millions of devices versus two games that are on exclusive hardware with only 50-60 million install base.

This is worrying. Hopefully it was just a brain fart and Yosh will get back to thinking straight in 2017.

The PS5 Exists.

Yea is a mess but still a solid game, we can just hope that from here FF XVI can fix everything, if they are going to be stuck with this style of gameplay FF VII remake should show us how much of improvement they can made.
