Forums - Microsoft - Banjo Kazooie 3 plot reveal!

I'm thinking Number 2, with Conker as the main villain.

How much ass would that kick?

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

To be similar to every second XBox 360 game. Banjo runs around with a machine gun running, jumping and shooting his way through the levels. A shooter/ platform genre game on XBox 360.
In no way am I dissing the PS3 here. But your starting to annoy with your comments. So I'll say it. PS3 has more % of it's games as running and gunning than 360 has % of it's games. Stop with the fanboy comments. Your killing me.

Rumor 3 sounds like an interesting concept to me. I'd like to play a BK game like that.

I'd discount 1&2, because 1 just sounds crap, and 2 sounds very similar to a certain game featuring an italian plumber, that leaves 3,4 and 5. I see 5 as being a strong possibility, given Rare's mention of creating a different playing experience.

T.I.T lol

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

3 or 4.
5 seems like they're poking fun at the overabundance of such games.
3 reeks of their "Conker" like humor, as well as has a 'old is new again' theme that would be fitting for a new Banjo Kazooie.
4, maybe, just because it seems reasonable on all levels. But, that could also be to make it the over-obvious choice and fool people.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

For argument's sake, let's say that this isn't more bullshit - that one of the above is, in fact, based on truth (I'm not convinced, mind you, but for the purposes of discussion).

#1 seems an easy gag, and refers to a transformation we've not seen (unless Banjo falls in love with her skull). Moreover, it just doesn't seem like an interesting game.

#2 is clearly a BK Galaxy gag, and if true would mean Rare had lost it's sense of shame along with its talent.

#5 seems to be a jab at the conventional view of the 360, its library and its players. Again, I hope it is not true, mostly for Rare's sake.

Now, I can see 3 and 4 as at least remotely plausible, to one degree or another.

#3 was essentially the plot of the GBA game, and TIT is more in line with Conker. Unless they are trying to recreate BK to appeal to a more "mature" crowd, it's got to be a gag.

That leaves #4.

The great thing about all this is that everyone of them is far-fetched and plausible to a certain degree, so it makes you wonder whether any of them is true at all definitely.

I would like to see them make #3...
