I know clawing is actually the superior method for many games, but I'm just not hyper competitive enough to deal with the discomfort and re-learning of how to hold a controller.

Good way to injure you hand...

Depends on the game. I don't with shooters, but I do with a lot of 3rd person action games.

I know you are just 16, but the vast majority of the gaming community will not know nor care about the terms you are using when it comes to the method of holding the controller/mouse you would have to expand for the vast number of people to reply with a "I hold the controller/mouse how I hold it"

When I hear people talking about changing the way they naturally hold a control device for games to emulate the way someone else on youtube/streams does it really makes me feel like old Barney here.

Play how you feel most comfortable (as long as you are holding the controls!)

Oh I know most people don't really care I'm just interested in seeing how many people claw or don't claw. I find it helpful to claw when I'm playing halo I'm not doing it to try to do it the way someone on youtube or twitch does it.

Changed the title to make more sense. I meant it as like do you claw or not lol but whatever.

I think you're just going to find that the majority of people on here just plain wont know what you are talking about, and like someone else said, I've only ever heard the terms used when it comes to kb/mouse never at controllers but just guessed you were talking about the same thing.

It really isn't a term that gamers everywhere know, I find it strange that people want to discuss it as though everyone would know, I really think it will never be a main stream thing.

Lol now it's even worse lol, it is so completely vague, the term "claw" just really is not known by any great % of people on here, you're phrasing it as a question which people would know like if it was "Sony or Microsoft?" or "PC or Console" but because the term isn't known by people you might as well just have the thread title of "Do you Tree?" it's a question asked where the subject of the question isn't a known term. As my post above said, I find it outstanding when it comes to this term (in regards kb/m talk) is brought up by people as though it is a commonly used term.

I see the picture, keep in mind again... people just hold the controller the way they hold it, so if someone does happen to hold the thing the same way you do they're not really going to know which aspect of it you're talking about lol, although for someone who doesn't do this, that is fucking awful looking way to hold it and I can't even begin to imagine how you would press Circle then Square (B/X on X1 pad).
