eh, people use what they know. If they grew up using a different system then they`ll probably use it their whole life. I know some older people who still use farenheit even :o

I grew up with the metric system. Now I live in Canada and use Fahrenheit for water temperature, Celcius for air temperature, (kilo)meters for speed/distance, feet for height, grams for cooking, pounds for weight, inches for measurements, liters for gas, gallons for water, it's messed up.
