Mine was getting my 360 and getting introduced to games like GTA. Where my parents told me I wasn't allowed to play those types of games, but I did anyway. I remember getting into JRPGs because of games like Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, and Lost Odyssey. Achievement hunting games with friends and then moving here where I found like minded people who liked Xbox. The reason I joined some of the communities here was becase I wanted to talk Xbox, and because of that I met some cool people I still talk to this day! 

How about you all? 

The ludicrous amount of hours I spent playing Star Wars Battlefront with my mates in high school, on the OG Xbox. Good times. :)

Well that's a good start lol. Definitely one of the best ones out there (not as good as X1) IMO.......... :)

Hated that battery pack on the 360 controller. Always annoyed me. 

I was gonna buy an Xbox360. Then I didnt. And I used to money to buy Ni No Kuni for PS3. Best deicision I made that day.

Easily getting introduced to games like Gears, Halo, Alan Wake, CoD, Lost Odyssey. Having the best controller that gen, just fit so comfortably. Also Xbox Live, such a great stable and reliable network that kept improving and adding features.

And as a bonus seeing the reactions of people who thought the console would be DOA due to brand popularity.

Playing the OG Halo on 2x Original Xbox's in my room as a teen, 2 Giant ass CRT TV's back to back playing 8 player Team Slayer, that was proper multiplayer gaming. This online shite will never remotely hold a candle to that multiplayer, could be 64v64, 128v128, billion v billion, Still not the same as the howling laughter inside the same room gunning the shit out of each other as 2 teams.

Oh right! the wired one doesn't have that annoying feature.

Damn right; online multiplayer can never match playing with a room full of friends.

Are you talking about the OG Xbox?

Since that is where people would have been introduced to some of the games you list here as well as the birth place of Xbox Live online network, but it most certainly would not have been the place which had the best controller that generation, it would have been a distant 3rd with the OG Duke compared to the PS2's Dual Shock and the GC pad.
