Microsoft has done it before, though. Spider-Man for the Xbox, Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid: Substance (originally Xbox exclusive content), even this gen I remember that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes had exclusive content for the XB1.
EDIT: Oh, I also forgot the FIFA games that have exclusive content on the XB1.
I guess ROTR was a Mattrick deal then. If not, that's a bit hypocritical.

That pic seems to represent a lot of users on this site.
Phil posted what he believes. Does not mean he won't have to do things he dislikes to compete with the competition. If he didn't do anything to secure extra content for Xbox owners he would be getting accused of "not caring about the Xbox fanbase".
It's funny seeing Phil get so much stick on this site, must still be that Scorpio effect.

He's just trying to create a negative narrative for Sony because that's all he's got left. He's up there with Crapgamer.

Speaking in a Q&A with Edge Online, DICE producer Aleksander Grondal revealed that the Microsoft platform, the Xbox One, would be getting a series of exclusives in the form of “popular maps”.
“That’s something we’re doing as an Xbox One exclusive,” He went on to say, “There are a few maps we’ve picked, we’re doing some re-work on them, adding a BF4 flavor. So that’s exclusive DLC for Xbox One. Some of the old maps are really good. And especially going back to BC2, I would love to see more of the BC2 maps.”
FIFA is another, The Division is another, and Minecraft with another.

He's got a lot more, like Scorpio and who knows how many games in the works. I get it though, he's MS and deserves a lot more stick and scrutiny than Sony ever does.
At least he has the balls to post what he believes even if he has to do exactly what he dislikes in order to remain in the competition.
