No wonder they could talk about the game before Nintendo has ok'd for other devs. They didn't have a dev kit and thus on signed NDA yet.

That's some BS though. It should be considered false advertisement to show a game stating its for X console while not showing it running on X console or any console. It happens too often that they show PC footage vs any console.

That sounds... quite possible, honestly. Well, Nintendo surely prioritized other developers when giving out dev kits. Not surprising.

My question is : first of all, how are they lying? Did they ever say it was running on Switch? Second : Its so obvious to anyone who understands anything that it was never Switch gameplay to begin with. Did anyone really expect NINTENDO to give a Switch dev kit to some no name indie developer before the January event, let alone before other major developers? The Switch was announced not even three months ago. Why would some no name indie dev get a kit months before announcement, or worse case scenario, was developing it for PC and randomly decided to put it on Switch.

I wouldnt even be surprised if the devs genuinely werent trying to mislead people and thought it was obvious enough that this early development was on PC. Hell most PS4 early dev showcasings are on PC. However, its more likely they were trying to misinform...unfortunately.

What's even more interesting, is your last part, that happens very often and yet on here we don't see it being talked about often enough, only when it fits the bill like we're seeing here.

I find general marketing from the otehr two to be deceptive. All those marketing rights either of them have snagged, involves them slapping their brand logo and nothing more, thus deceiving everyone who sees the advert into thinking X game is only on Y system, when in reality it's on two or coming to 3 of them, if not all.

LOL. I old Nintendo fans that this game was fake and he had no devkit. They were so excited about this and the concept is not even interesting. Anything about an "exclusive" and they go crazy.
